It sounds like the connection to your DNS Servers is not reliable. Are
these servers on your site or somewhere else?

This means that the POST Server can cache up to 20 lookups. If you are
using MX caching then you should set this to around 1000 or so.

We have two DNS servers located on-site and we never have these problems.
There is some kind of communication problem between your POST Server and DNS
servers.
