I've had the crew thinking about useful things for iMS V2 and this one
popped up, forgive me if this already exists, its the wrong end of the day :-)
We have had situations where a client is having trouble getting their mail
where it is a forwards account of some form. (We have a lot of website
clients that have a bunch of email address to go with the site that are
just forwards to POP accounts elsewhere; Yahoo, or whatever.) What we need
to do is have POST debugging on when that account is sending mail, but not
in general to save enormous log files.
Would it be possible to have a flag in the control file, maybe settable
from CFX_iMSMail as well, that will turn on debug logging just for that
post as it is being handled whilst everything else is off? Our admins say
it would save a lot of hassle in looking after clients with
hard-to-diagnose problems.
While you are at it, put the same in the POST and POP servers as well :^)
