It actually expires one year after installation.

POST-SE has been discontinued (unless someone convinces the "powers that be"
here that it's a good idea to keep it).  One reason it was discontinued
because it's not easy keeping up with an expiring license on the client side
and our side.

There is no upgrade from POST-SE to any other iMS license (there never was).
Your options would be:

iMS-SE $250
iMS SOHO $500
iMS POST Professional $750
