Hi All

I found today a loop on the smtp/post server .. first a user sends an
email using smtp.. the smtp finds out that is a REALY so it sends it to the
POST server.. but here is the thing.. the HAHOO.COM guys have the DNS MX
poiting to the localhost ip address as shown

Non-authoritative answer:

hahoo.com preference = 20, mail exchanger = mail2.hahoo.com

hahoo.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mail1.hahoo.com

Authoritative answers can be found from:

hahoo.com nameserver = NS1.MISTYPE.COM

hahoo.com nameserver = NS2.MISTYPE.COM

mail2.hahoo.com internet address = 127.0.0.1

mail1.hahoo.com internet address = 127.0.0.1

NS1.MISTYPE.COM internet address = 209.81.9.247

NS2.MISTYPE.COM internet address = 207.138.32.242

so the post sever send the email to itself making some loop.. has anybody
experience this before?? can anybody make a test sending a mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] so see what happens in your IMS?..

any ideas?

regards
