I am not following? June should be Jun? However, in the header below (your
last email) it is June.

We are still convinced it is a bug in Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express 5.0
that the time offset (-0500) is causing the month to be set back 5 months
and not the time offset. This only happens in these two clients as we have
tested this with Express 5.0 and 5.5, Outlook 2000, Hotmail, Excite Mail,
and Eudora. The time offset produced issues with Express 5.0 and Outlook
2000, but not the others including Express 5.5. We took this offset out and
all worked well in all clients. We repeated this several times to be sure.
We then put the offset back in and it caused the same issue in Express 5.0
and Outlook 2000 where the Month was reverted from June to January and we
repeated this several times to verify.

We also looked back to some emails sent in May and indeed in Outlook 2000
and Express 5.0 the sent date was shown as December 2000 and not May 2001!

It does appear that MS knew about this as Express 5.5 has not produced this
error in any of the tests we have done.

Matt

Yes, you are correct - I missed that. It should be a 3 character
representation.

Regards,

Howie
