HTML manipulation is something that we have wanted to add to the software and is on
our list of future enhancements. The reason
that it hasn't been implemented yet is because of the inherent complexity of doing so.
There are many different variations of HTML
mail and we would have to account for each one.
Our immediate plans for iMS are to implement some new features in a version 2.1 and
2.2 and then move on to developing version 3.
More than likely the HTML manipulation will be a version 3 feature.
In the meantime, you can disassemble the entire message with cfx_odsmime, manipulate
the HTML and then reassemble the message to
send to your list. This would not be as quick or efficient as a native iMS solution
but it is doable.
Lastly, I believe that tokens are replaced in the HTML portion of an email unless the
HTML is encoded base64 (which does occur
sometimes - making HTML manipulation more difficult).
Regards,
Howie
