I happened for a couple hours yesterday. We don't monitor the logs for this
on a continuous 24/7 basis (as I am sure no one does), but when I saw some
anomalies with the stats report I was sent this morning, I had to take a
looksie and BAM. The POST server has 2GB RAM, the first 2 DNS servers we
are pointing to have 2GB RAM, the 3rd has 1GB and the fourth has 512MB. I
could not see that they had mem issues either. Post tried all 4 servers
sequentially and had the same error for all 4 and like I said for about 2
hours. At some point one of my engineers must have restarted IMS because it
was fine after these 2 hours of errors.

Strange. Has this happened again? Maybe the server is reporting an
out-of-memory when there is, in fact, a different error. I'm
doing a text search on our logs right now to see if there are any similar
occurances.

Howie
