Since iMS is open (you can keep your user lists any way that you choose) my answer is 
a bit general.  ColdFusion has the ability to
communicate with an LDAP server.  I would assume that you could use a scheduler 
(CFSchedule of inFusion Scheduler) to periodically
update the LDAP server from your database of users.
