iMS version 2.1 RC3 is now available for download. This version contains a few bug
fixes as well as one additional new feature.
Bug fixes:
+ Corrected Logging exclusions in POP Server
+ Corrected Logging exclusions in SMTP Server
Feature addition
+ Added mail folder creation in SMTP Server
This new feature, when enabled, causes the SMTP server to store mail in an orderly
manner (instead of storing incoming mail in a
common folder for all recipients). Mail storage looks something like:
BaseStorageFolder (usually c:\iMS\Mail)
|
---Domain
|
---User name
Example, mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] may be stored in c:\ims\mail\coolfusion.com\howie
Notes: if there is more than one recipient then the mail will be stored dependent
upon the domains of the recipients. If all
recipients are in the same domain then the mail will be stored in
BaseStorageFolder\Domain. If the recipients are in more than one
domain then the mail will be stored in the base storage folder. You can enable this
storage method with the "Auto-Create Inbox
Folders" option on the SMTP settings page of the configurator.

very close to what the iMS 2.1 release will be
