Subject: [iMS] iMS2.1 & smart delivery

No, Smart Delivery should be the same as always. We use Smart Delivery here with no
problem.

<<<
The code I have used to work, but now POST reports "Error sending locally to ...".
It doesn't say what the error was (full
logging is on and option=debug is set). The template that is being called on
SmartDelivery is completing w/out any CF errors (I'm
sure of that). The mail actually gets properly saved as being received (ie. it shows
up in the users folder/mailbox). However POST
isn't satisfied. Is it looking for something in the SD template output that it didn't
look for in iMS 2.0? It's getting a
result=accept though it never seemed to care about those before.

I think that Smart Delivery always looked for result=accept but I may be wrong. At
any rate, best practice is to include
result=accept (or reject, etc.) in any iMS template.

uses the servers specified in the system DNS settings (TCP/IP properties). At least
that's how it appeared. Is that right?

No, the post server should only be using the dns servers that you configure in the iMS
settings.
