Fomr my message yesterday:
"Oh, that is the TCP/IP connection attempt that is
timing out. Basically, iMS asks Winsock to connect to the server and when
Winsock fails to connect you get an error which, in this case, is a
timeout. This means that the remote server is not listening or a network
connection could not be established."
You'll notice that the log error contains the text "sockconnect" which
means that the timeout occurred when trying to connect. The timeout that
is set in iMS is for when iMS is connected to a server but is waiting for a
response from the other server.
