I get a NOOP in the SMTP log and the message fails to deliver. Can one use the SMTP to send a message from a local mailbox to an outside mailserver mailbox. My assumption is no and is the reason of the NOOP in the SMTP log. Based on the documentation and my findings, the POST must be the one used for the action described above.
