Thanks for the suggesstions but... how would you rethink the min. bandwidth setting?  We're thinking that it should be around 28,000 bytes per second, does this sound more reasonable?  Thanks.

The settings do affect SE.  The app server connections setting only comes into play if you are using reportpoststatus, postfail or postwarn templates.

The only setting that you may want to rethink is the min. bandwidth setting which is now only 100 bytes per second.

Subject: [iMS] Ims SE - minimum bandwidth per thread/App server connections

Howie,

How do these settings, minimum bandwidth per thread and App server connections, affect Ims SE?  I've got 1.3Megs/sec so here's what Im doing w/ IMS:

Max total bandwidth: 722
Allocation factor: 13

Minimum Bandwidth/thread: 100
Simultaneous App server Connections: 20

Are these two bottom figures good for what I'm trying to do?  I want to use 1/2 of my bandwidth and pump out mail as fast as possible, it's the only thing this machine is used for.  Thanks in advance.  _mark Kecko
