iMS POST Server version 2.4 beta 4 is now available for download. This version has the following changes over the older betas:
1 - Full support for multiple outgoing mail folders. This feature allows you to store outgoing mail in many subfolders beneath the standard Out folder. This feature removes the OS limitation of having too many files in a single folder. Note that you need to set a registry entry by hand and use the included version of the CFX_iMSMail tag for multi-folder support. The registry value that you need to add is: HKLM\\Software\On-Line Data\inFusionMailServer\POST\MultiFolder Make this a DWORD and set it to 1. If you want to add multiple outgoing folders on your own (some of our clients use CFML to make mail files) then you simply need to prefix the folder name with a "$". For example, c:\ims\out\$domain1\ would work. 2 - Two new lists for the ReportPostStatus template. These lists are the result codes from the remote mail server and they list the reason why a recipient has been temporarily or permanently failed. These lists are comma-delimited and quoted. For example: "550 Unknown user","550 Unknown user" These two lists are called TempFailedResponseList and PermFailedResponseList 3 - Fixed a bug where mail files (MBX files) were not being deleted.
