I am sending it from the CFX tag.

The code is the top part of my HTML body content.

The rest of the body contains greek characters that are not displayed correctly on most recipients email clients.

iMS does not the email.  Could you please tell me how you are sending the email?  Are you sending it from a mail client or the CFX tag?  Please provide as much detail as possible.

Thanks,

Howie

Subject: [iMS] Problem with Greek Encoding

Dear sirs,

I am having some problems with the character encoding meta tag.

While I use the following code in my email header :

<html>

    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1253">

<style type="text/css">

         </style>

         <body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">

What I get when I view the source of my the sent email body is

<html>

<style type="text/css">

         </style>

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=Windows-1252">

<body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">

As a result, most email recipients  can’t view the Greek characters (windows-1253)

Is there any setting in iMSmail for changing the character coding?

Thank you in advance
