I've put together a replacement tag for CFMAIL which uses the iMSMail COM object to do the actual sending. It takes almost all the same attributes as CFMAILand includes the companion CFMAILPARAM replacement. The only real limitation is that it cannot support the QUERY attribute.
The iMSMail COM object is similar in functionality to the CFX_iMSMail tag, though much more limited and according to Howie not as compatible with some email clients as the CFX. Also as I have just learned it probably isn't compatible with the latest version of iMS. Nonetheless, there's no good way to emulate the functionality of CFMAIL by using the CFX tag as it currently is implemented (Howie and I have discussed this).

Hey, Max!
Quick question... Did you come up with this because you didn't want customers using CFX_iMSMail directly or because they needed a more straight-forward replacement to CFMail? If just the latter, do you allow them to use either CF_Mail or CFX_iMSMail?
