I'm testing some stuff for a move over and I'm seeing something interesting. I
have a single account with 2 aliases. If I send mail to each alias alone, it
goes into a directory for the alias. If I send to both aliases in a single mail
(both in TO or in To and CC) it goes into the root mail folder rather than the
individual folder.
normal mail - c:\ims\site.com\alias 1
normal mail - c:\ims\site.com\alias 2
combined mail - c:\ims\site.com\
I expect this is the way its supposed to be, but why is the mail put into the
site root? When I view the mail from FusionMail there are 2 of the message that
was combined. Why not copied into each alias or something else. Also, when I
download all of the mail, the messages in the site root stayed. Even doing
another test and deleting it from fusion mail resulted in the site root messages
not being deleted.
Is this expected? Wouldn't it be better to make a 'physical' copy of the message
sent to both aliases and put it in their individual folder?
As a side note, the Javascript in FusionMail dies badly in Mozilla.
