If the MX is specified in the CFX tag then the POST server uses that.  If not, en it does an MX lookup and uses that.  If the MX lookup fails (ie - the domain has no MX) then the server uses the domain portion of the email address as the MX if MX From Address is enabled.

I do have "MX >From Address" checked, assuming that it would only attempt this if no MX record existed.
