Can you explain what exactly the auto address fixup does and why one
would want it on? I've been wondering for some time why we've been
seeing addresses like

    From: "Smith, John" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

getting munged into

    From: <"Smith>, John" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

It appears that auto address fixup may be the culprit.
