Would a setting for additional retry time be sufficient? For example:
retry time = 5 additional retry time = 25
First retry occurs in 5 minutes. Each additional retry occurs 30 minutes apart.
What do you think?
I was just about to suggest that, or something similar:
Try 6 times, 5 minutes apart, then try every 30 minutes. Numbers configurable, of course.
