Bartee,

AOL.  Here are some instructions I JUST WROTE today for our CUSTOMERS because our mail is being dumped in their 'spam folder' that no regular AOL customer even knows about unless they find it.  Hopefully, this is helpful for you.  I've run some tests and all e-mail that I used to think was going to that great bit bucket in the sky (also known as AOL H*LL) is actually in this 'hidden' folder instead.

(BTW, this was AOL 8.0):

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINDING RESUMEBLASTER.COM MAIL WITH AOL SPAM FILTER ON:

Unfortunately, AOL is classifying our e-mail as SPAM. It is quite common for them to classify business related e-mail as spam, always assuming that the person did NOT request it (even though they did). In this case, you are requesting e-mail from us, but AOL is blocking it. The good news is that you can, however, control how AOL is doing this if you have AOL 8.0 or higher. Here are the instructions:

1. Sign into AOL (if not already)

2. Click the 'Read Mail' Icon

3. Click on the 'Mail Options' drop down at the top-middle of the Online Mailbox window.

4. Choose 'Block Unwanted Mail' from the menu.

5. On the right side, under the 'Control What Mail I Get' section, there is a link that says 'Click here to access your Spam Folder'. Click on that link.

6. Now, find the message that was sent to you by ResumeBlaster.com (Hint: these e-mails are in ascending date order, so you need to jump to the bottom with the scroll bar to see the most recent e-mails).

7. Once you find the e-mail, click on it once. Then click the button at the bottom that says 'This is Not Spam'. This will move the message back into your new mail folder.

8. Click OK on the notification window that it has been moved.

9. Repeate Steps 6 - 8 for other e-mails that you DO want to read.

10. When finished, Close the Spam folder by clicking on the X in the upper right corner of the window.

11. Now click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the 'Mail and Spam Controls' window.

12. Now you are back to your New Mail folder, however, you may not be able to see the message until you 'refresh' your messsage list. You can do this by closing the 'Read Mail' window and then re-opening it. Now your message from ResumeBlaster.com should appear.

You will have to repeat this procedure for all e-mails coming with a DIFFERENT FROM address. But, thankfully, you will only have to repeate it ONCE for each FROM address, e.g. once you have classified an e-mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] as 'not spam' all future e-mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] will come directly into your New Mail Folder.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR TURNING OFF AOL SPAM FILTER:

If you do not get a lot of spam mail and the only mail AOL is filtering out is your ResumeBlaster.com mail, then you could simply turn off their filtering system. Here's how:

1. Sign into AOL (if not already)

2. Click the 'Read Mail' Icon

3. Click on the 'Mail Options' drop down at the top-middle of the Online Mailbox window.

4. Choose 'Block Unwanted Mail' from the menu.

5. UNCHECK the checkbox that says 'Control What Mail I Get' and then click the Save button at the bottom. This will turn the filtering off completely and all new mail will arrive in your new mail folder.
