We
have something in place. We always have. I reviewing the process on the db side
to see if there is anything we are missing. We have just had several service
crashes since upgrading IMS to the latest version.
The scheduler only runs templates when your
GetEvents template tells it to. This could be some kind of racing
issue. Our sample scheduler templates are designed to prevent racing by
marking records as "in process". You should make sure that your
templates are doing something like this.

We just had an
issue with the scheduler where it processed the same events over and over. I
have included a log sample below. Each of these ids can only be run once
based on how our system is built. We haven't run into this issue in the 2+
years since we setup our scheduler to work the way it currently does. The
only change in recent history to the scheduler is that we upgraded to 2.5.6.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
