Perhaps. I don't leave anything to chance when going for performance, though.
Philip - What rate have you achieved?
In testing, and this has been awhile (at least a year ago), we were able to sustain about 125k per hour for 5-6 hours on relatively aging equipment by today's standards. Subsequent enhancements in iMS, our mail creation routines and using Windows 2003 Server on modern equipment, I would expect to see that number hugely increase.
