To be honest, i hate xml files. In most situations they just add unnecessary complication, and quite the opposite effect as is probably the intention, severely decrease human-readibility of the file.
And what's more, starting services only when something is explicitly requiring its use? Does this sound like a recipe for really terrible latency to anyone else?
