IMHO we only need two sources at the same time, one devel and one
stable. The current source will be devel and when we want to make a
stable release we just create a stable branch with an equal number like
0.6, 0.8, 0.10 and so forth. And then we are using the stable branch to
make file releases like 0.6.0, 0.6.1 and so forth.
