Hello all, I'm trying InitNG on an OpenSuse 10.3 box with kernel 2.6.22.9-0.4-default, InitNG 0.6.10.1, InitNG-ifiles 0.1.4 & InitNG-libs 0.6.10.1. I have found the RPM files on http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/darix/openSUSE_10.3/
It's hard to tell the quality of the RPM packages. Anyway, here's my problem : after having provided the command genrunlevel --all on a fresh install, the boot process complains about "missing tmpfs support" required by udev. As I absolutely don't know where to find this for my distro, I stripped udev out of my default runlevel. Then : I got the following error message : "system/mountroot/check" failed : returned with termsig 0 rcode 1. It looks like it cannot fsck my root partition. It says that it must be mounted read-only and that it is, actually. A clue, anyone ? Cheers, Pierre "Deux choses ne se peuvent cacher : l'ivresse et l'amour." (Antiphane)
