Hi, We carry a few patches in Magea to the dracut package but some of them are quite generic and probably apply to upstream too.
I've picked some that I think are applicable to upstream. You might not want them all, but there are here for you if you do. Certainly patch 1 seems safe and patch 6 will be needed on kernel > 3.8.
