Yes, pootle it is still under development, but inkscape is still under
development too and it could be used.
If it isn't much work, please contact with pootle development team and
comment your situation for they work to do more easy to us, and
another projects, to use pootle to translate directly the .po files
and comitting them to svn or cvs.
