Hi all, ACSpike and I have created the release branch for Inkscape 0.45. With this, we are now ready to move to into Feature Freeze.
All further release work (translations, tutorial updates, bug fixes, etc.) will need to be done on the release branch. You can check it out like this: svn checkout \\ https://inkscape.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/inkscape/inkscape/branches/RELEASE_0_45_BRANCH \\ inkscape-0.45-release-branch Note that whereas in previous releases, the branch was made AFTER the feature freeze; this time we're doing it BEFORE the feature freeze. The reason for this is to enable svn HEAD to return to regular development. So please, if you have changes that must go into the release, be sure to commit to both the release branch -and- to svn HEAD.
