Not if you compile it regularly from SVN. As you don't need to build the whole 
code, the compile time is *usually* short.

By the way, did you see this bug (wishlist), helix84?

Do you (and others!) think it's possible (or necessary) to automate the po 
files updating process, or, at least, have them manually updated more regularly?
