Hi Translators, I noticed today that a French translator was trying to tranlate some news on the inkscape.org website but in the wrong way (causing errors).
The new system has been updated so the admin interface for the website is no longer required in order to make new or translate existing news. Go to: http://inkscape.org/news/ If you see colorful icons on the right, the you have news editing/translation permissions. (make sure you are logged in) Translating should just be a matter of clicking on the red translate icon and seeing the English next to some text boxes for your currently selected language. Fill in thee boxes and you should be done. It will save everything else correctly. Any questions, let me know.
