Yes, of course, Victor - you're welcome to help with whatever you like and with whichever intensity you choose :) If you like, there's a question in the launchpad answers section in pt-br currently. I'm not sure if I understood what the poster is asking - it could be the issue with recompression of (jpg) images in Inkscape versions <= 0.48. Or it could be that the person is not finding the 'Export to PNG' dialog, or maybe he means that the numbers change when he enters a value...
