The Japanese translations of the Inkscape website could definitely need some help - there is no other Japanese translator active at the moment. If this is the first time you are working with django-cms, it's very important that you read the instructions at http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/WebSite carefully. We do not have a playground website at the moment, so even your first steps will be impacting the real website, and there are a few pitfalls, unfortunately. If you are technically inclined, you can also set up a local instance of our website on your computer (needs Linux) to see how it works and to try things out at your own pace. For an easy start, I'd suggest you first go with the .po file translation (instructions at http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/WebSite#Translating_other_parts_of_the_website), after that with the news translation, for learning how to use the editor, and then with the website page contents. I encourage you to ask whenever something is unclear, or when you encounter difficulties, either with the tools, or with the meaning of the English contents.
