Yes, I can confirm this. It looks like the translations for those menus are not loaded/not compiled into the gmo files for some reason.
I found that while everything else in the gmo file is in binary format, extension and filter texts are in plain text. It might be that something is going wrong during compilation... maybe. I hope that maybe Patrick can have a look, when he has got some time.
