On the Solaris box I'm using (SunOS 5.8), using a gcc-compiled perl, using gcc to compile, certain functions appear to be simply skipped! I can insert diagnostic printf statements to the effect that a function is called yet the execution appears to ignore it. Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior on Solaris? It happens with my Text::Scan module (latest v 0.10 available from CPAN). The "_insert" function is skipped. To tell the truth I'm a bit baffled as to what to try next. Any help appreciated. Cheers! ira _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
