Hello,
according to the doc, a filter is invoked to preprocess the inlined
source, *after* MD5 checksumming. So it should not be invoked for a
source already compiled before, should it? I'm wondering about that
because of a recent trace of mine:

Inline recognizes the source to be known, but nevertheless the (quiet
expensive) filter is invoked.
