Well, it turns out that xsubpp doesn't understand any but the most trivial
of types.  Of course, it doesn't ever really tell you this in the manpage.
You sort of have to fumble around with it yourself :)  Anyway, types
containing "struct" or "const" must be typedef'd away or they won't be
bound in Perl.
