If the types in the interface are already in the typemap, then I think they are good candidates for automatic wrapping. I like to only write/cross interfaces where I absolutely have to, otherwise it's just convenient using the void* pointer and passing it around to the various C functions transparently. For the size and types of data I was using, it was much faster to remain in C land whereever possible. What I found is that I ended up writing redundant wrappers around my C functions in Inline in order to get around this limitation. -Clint
