Hello all!

I keep going round in circles looking for a good way to include FORTRAN (F4, F77) into
my Perl.
The work I do includes passing the tools out other people who are not (and do not want
to be) hard-core programmers. That said, I am looking for some that is
cross-platformable-ish (is that a word or what?) and does not require a ton of initial
setup.

I recently stumbled on people mentioning using Inline::C to include FORTRAN libraries.
I was wondering who has any experience with this. And if they'd be willing to show
me a few examples of code; along with sharing their experiences on how deployable it
is into a mixed OS/user environment.

Alternatively, I'd love to help with Inline::F77, Inline::F90, and
Inline::FORTRAN…whereby the first two inherit from the later. But I am not a
hard-core CS person, so I'd need coaching on this. I get the impression that writing
modules for Inline is let to CS gurus….and while I'd love to become one, I am not
there. :( Alternatively, I can play a support role. I have access to Win2k, Linux
Redhat 7.x and Mac OS 10.x machines.

Any and all help/assistance/pointers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
