Yes, this list deals more with the reverse situation where you're running something other than perl (eg C, Java, Python) inline in your perl scripts.

That doesn't mean that you definitely won't get any help here, but I think the correct place would be the 'embperl' list - you might even get some assistance from the 'perl-xs' list. See http://lists.perl.org for details regarding both of those lists.
