A new cleaner version of Java::Swing is now on CPAN. This facilitates writing Swing apps in Perl, similar to how Gtk2 does for gtk.
The revision does not change the api, so it should drop in for anyone who is using it. The structure is much cleaner. Instead of one .pm for each Swing component, there are now about 10 modules total (though there is still a .java for each listener type, I may try on the fly generation at some point, but that will require java reflection).
