It is indeed really odd. From Java an integer is returned, I can't see how undef can be coming out of there. I did notice some inconsistencies which I will clean up in the next release, but I don't think it's that. Are you using Callbacks at all in your code? Maybe there a special case involving those I haven't tested properly... Let me know if you find anything, I'd really like to know where its coming from...
