I installed VC++ on my PC. I copied mspdb60.dll & cl.exe in WINNT\System32.
And also add path of 'cl.exe' in PATH variable... So if I gives cmd like ... C:\>cl Microsoft (R) 32-bit C/C++ Optimizing Compiler Version 12.00.8168 for 80x86 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1984-1998. All rights reserved. usage: cl [ option... ] filename... [ /link linkoption... ] So I think it has been installed properly .. Is it right way?? But now new error has come like C:\Perl\lib\Inline>nmake Microsoft (R) Program Maintenance Utility Version 1.50 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corp 1988-94. All rights reserved. NMAKE -f Makefile all -nologo cl -c "-IC:\j2sdk1.4.2\include" "-IC:\j2sdk1.4.2\include\win32" -nolog o -GF -W3 -MD -Zi -DNDEBUG -O1 -DWIN32 -D_CONSOLE -DNO_STRICT -DHAVE_DES_FCRYPT -DNO_HASH_SEED -DUSE_SITECUSTOMIZE -DPERL_IMPLICIT_CONTEXT -DPERL_IMPLICIT_SYS - DUSE_PERLIO -DPERL_MSVCRT_READFIX -MD -Zi -DNDEBUG -O1 -DVERSION=\"0.51\" -D XS_VERSION=\"0.51\" "-IC:\Perl\lib\CORE" JNI.c JNI.c C:\Perl\lib\CORE\perl.h(420) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'sys /types.h': No such file or directory NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'C:\WINNT\system32\cmd.exe' : return code '0x2' Stop.
