Hi folks,

its pretty common in a mailpost scenario to reply to the news article,
putting both newsgroup and news EMail address on CC. Result is an error
EMail to me saying

inews failed: inews: cannot send article to server: 441 435 Duplicate inews:
article not posted

Ignoring the unwanted copy is surely OK, but what is this message good
for? Would it be possible for inews to suppress this message?

Regards
Harri

Do you know how inews is invoked? and from whom is the error e-mail, as
well as its subject? (news administrator? error log?)

This error message is currently generated by inews when receiving a
response code different than "Post OK". inews then logs this message as
an error and dies.
There's probably something to improve here.

It uses SQLite. Oracle provoked this by redirecting me to a login page
when I tried to download the Berkeley DB source...
