Ryan,

You are the person.  I thought you set this machine up.  I would have guessed 
that you were the one who would be doing the LDAP synchronization.

I am 90% sure that you are the only one who has done any systems administration 
on that machine in recent months.

A long time ago, Dan Blezek had done some fisheye testing, but I doubt that 
that has any LDAP component to it.

Hans,
  After looking through the log files we found what appeared to be an LDAP 
synchronization that Jira was attempting to do which was running out the heap 
space and available postgres connections and then causing the application to 
crash.  We are not sure what it is that is happening on the system at this 
point or what it is that someone is trying to do, but within a few minutes of 
restarting the application we get back to Jira overloading on RAM and CPU.  Can 
you point us to who I can talk to about what is happening, or what they are 
trying to do, or do you happen to know what is going on with it?
