Hello,

The dashboard has looked OK the past couple of nights except the caveats I
posted about on Saturday. I agree with the only other expressed opinion on the
subject, that we should continue to move forward with the tag and just inform
the users of the know issue and that is should be resolved by the next
candidate.

The next release candidate tag, "v4.2.rc02" should be made based on last
night's nightly-master branch, 3d7a6a86921b2e1899dbb5cc65697ffe7e0a9ac8.

With the tag already in the repository we can begin the this weeks development
cycle for this release candidate. As a reminder no new features should be added
unless a special exception is agreed upon on the developers list. The focus of
the commits should be to fix bugs, improve documentations, and testing. Other
required minor tweaks certainly should go in early in the cycle. At then end of
the week only commits which directly fix issues on the dashboard should be
merged.

Thanks for everyones hard work and attention to the development cycle and
process. I also must apologize as it is my commit that is causing the VS8
compilation issue.

Brad
