Please test the release candidate and share your experiences on the mailing list, issue tracker, and Gerrit Code Review. Please help identify issues submitting an Experimental build to the dashboard [2] with: ctest -M Experimental -T Configure -T Build -T Test -T Submit and notifying the mailing list. Testing your own applications against the RC is also appreciated. Those community members wishing to contribute by cleaning up the dashboard can find a list potential candidates on the issue tracker [3]. Please do not hesitate to ask about any aspect of the contribution process. One of the issues that arose in this release candidate phase was warnings generate by unused typedefs on newer compilers. Assistance working on these warnings is welcome as is testing to ensure that removed typedefs does not break code that builts against the toolkit..
