I needed to change the way I configured if building as a remote module. I needed to explicitly include ITKConfig.cmake before including the ITKUse.cmake. This simulates a find_package (ITK).
I have checked in the changes to the wikiExamples repo. I'll be updated the remote module for ITK soon.
