These days it is those who have themselves known what it is to be up against it who are digging deep for others. Not only to provide much-needed practical support, but to foster alternative analyses of society to those of the free-market ideologues and alternative communities of life and discourse in which ordinary people actually matter.
God is alive and well. A new Reformation may well be in the wings.
