why go to church?

"I can imagine more people going along to church if it wasn't in a 
church environment as such. I think sometimes churches can seem closed 
to people who don't go. It's a community and if you don't know people it 
would be hard to be part of it - I think this is a big part of why 
people don't go."

But there were other reasons for non-attendance, including a loss of 
faith or a simple lack of time ...
